I have recently began optimizing my zwave network here at home since I ditched all the 433.92 inwall's and swithed over to zwave (already had a zwave network for about 4 years now...).
I setup zniffer since I have an extra UZB stick.
I noticed my controller is sending out "cmd set nwi mode" explorer frames every 5 minutes.
Is this normal?
I should mention I have 2 seperate (eg: NOT secondary controller, 2 seperate) zwave networks... Yes I know I really should merge them... But anyways, this behavior is only present on one of the controllers.
z-way-server 3.0.6
uzb firmware 5.33
Attached is a screenshot from zniffer.
Any insight into if this is normal or not?
UZB + Z-Way-Server - Set NWI mode frames every 5 minutes?
Re: UZB + Z-Way-Server - Set NWI mode frames every 5 minutes?
I rolled back to 5.27 and then to 5.36, same behavior so I dont think its firmware related.
Re: UZB + Z-Way-Server - Set NWI mode frames every 5 minutes?
...and magically it stopped for no reason.
I have been playing with priority routes lately so maybe its related? Probably not though...
