Google Home login 403 Unauthorized

Post by SirHegel »

Hello,

I registered an account to this forum to ask help in connecting z-wave.me into Google Home, but eventually the problem disappeared and I succeeded.

Just in case someone (developers?) might find this useful: in my case I was unable to log into my z-wave.me account in the Google Home application in Android. As instructed in this forum, I added the Google Home application into my hub, installed Google Home into my mobile device and selected "Set up device", searched for z-wave.me and tried to log into my hub using id/username+password. I was able to log in using my credentials, but every time my hub responded by showing error page: 403 "You are not authorized to view this page".

I tried everything I imagined, created new user account in my hub, updated my hub to the very latest firmware (3.2.1), installed updates to RPi, rebooted many times etc., but nothing helped. As a last effort I created account here to ask for help, but suddenly the login succeeded and I was able to complete the setup. Since that Google Home has worked flawlessly. There clearly is a bug somewhere, but I don't quite know what fixed it.

Thanks for the programmers, Google Home + z-wave.me seems like a match made in heaven. So far I have ~26 devices in my setup, and being able to use voice commands is just brilliant. The setup process seems to have some hiccups, but great job so far.
