Fibaro Universal Sensor Inclusion

Post by J.nissen »

Hello,
Include the univesal Sensor from Fibaro ist very difficult.
If I retry the Inclusion, irgent when it goes then. I must then but also times 10 - 20 times to get the inclusion again.

In the Fibaro HCL Lite this goes without a problem.

What can be the reason

Hello Polto,
in the meantime I have pressed 1000 times more on the interviews of the individual classes and am now at 99%. So now only the class for the version is missing and this is not so important.

Since I often tinker with Universal Sensor, this behavior is only annoying

Please show us the View Interview Result. Then we can see which Command Class is missing.
I just struggled with an old universal Sensor, you are using a smart implant. Maybe they are similiar, as the smart implant is
the successor of the universal sensor.
This helps for mulitchannel interview problems if I remember right:

http://192.168.0.148:8083/JS/Run/zway.d ... wDone=true

You have to use your IP Address and your device number.

If there is another class missing, you can use something like this:
http://192.168.0.148:8083/JS/Run/zway.d ... wDone=true

Have Fun,

It's random.
Command Class:- Version, ManufacturerSpecific, Association.
or others
I've been getting S2 missing for devices that are too old to support it !
But after 5 - 20 attempts at Call for NIF, or Interviews. It gets resolved.

I get from that. There are no classes missing ! (It works 100% after multiple tries)
It's just timeouts when doing the Interview process.

Been like this for about 2 years.
No fixes given, just work arounds (override the failed interview)

Greetings.

Hello Micky1500,
exactly what I mean :-)

Is there a new sensor where the inclusion works better? I have already installed the latest firmware. However, I am surprised that the inclusion with a HCL Lite works without problems.

O.K. understood. If I have an problem with inclusion, it´s not possible to do it via NIFR or force interview.
I had to set it via weblink to true.
