I hadn't updated/upgraded my pi in over a year and was experiencing some issues so I decided to start over from scratch. I have a fairly simple setup: Raspberry Pi 3 B v1.2, Razberry 2 (blue board) and 1 or 2 Fibaro FGMS-001 motion sensors.
I started with a new 32GB SD card and installed Raspberry Pi OS (Lecacy, 32 bit) "A port of Debian Bullseye with security updates and desktop environment" from the Raspberry Imager. I then installed Z-Way using "wget -qO - https://storage.z-wave.me/Z-Way-Install | sudo bash". The installation went without issue and Z-Way is working. I added the motions sensors and for the most part, they are working. Motion and Tamper are detected and notifications are working. However, Luminescence and Temperature are not working as they should. It looks like they will report the value registered at boot but then they won't update. I have read on the forum that there have been various issues with these sensors after Bullseye.
Could anyone here offer any assistance or advice?
Fibaro Luminesence/Temperature not working after fresh install
Re: Fibaro Luminesence/Temperature not working after fresh install
I have been observing the behavior of the FGMS-001 for the last couple days. Yesterday, after a reboot, Luminescence and Temperature updated at 09:18, 10:48, 11:18, 14:18. It looked like there might have been a pattern but then the updates stopped until this morning when they updated at 10:20 and again at 14:20. It looks like this may have something to do with the Wakeup interval. Besides the Expert User Interface, are there any hidden configuration files where I can specify the wakeup interval? Are there any logs I could look at or submit here? I haven't delved into the depths of Z-Way but I would be happy to look anywhere or submit any files if someone would just guide me where to look.
If it helps any, the FGMS-001 is running firmware version 3.3. It doesn't appear that the firmware can be updated unless you have a Fibaro Home Center.
The Interview process says 100% complete.
I have looked through the Expert User Interface to find anything that might be relevant. At the bottom of the Configuration section, Wakeup Time, Seconds is set to 3600 (default 7200). However, this does not appear to be accurate or working.
Also, in the Control section where you can tell each sensor to update, all but one item on the list would not update.
It looks like the embed image function isn't working. Here's the link: https://ibb.co/MGPqrR6
I saw in this thread: https://forum.z-wave.me/viewtopic.php?f=3419&t=35635 that there were issues with these sensors in version 4.0.0 but it was the exact opposite of what I am experiencing. In that case only Luminescence and Temperature worked, not Motion or Tamper. It isn't clear if these issues were ever resolved.
I'm really hoping someone can point me in the right direction to get this working as it used to.
Thanks

Re: Fibaro Luminesence/Temperature not working after fresh install
If anyone is interested or encounters this same problem, Marat at z-wave.me found the solution. My sensor was missing the (#1) Z-Way Association under the Lifeline item in the ExpertUI.
Here's a pic of the ExpertUI screen: https://ibb.co/6FjTkmy
Adding that association completely solved the problem and now I am getting Temperature and Luminescence updates.
