Hi,

Just getting to grips with this system on a Razberry and getting there slowly! Just wondering if I poll every 1 second from, say, OpenRemote via the URL, does that actually poll the device every second and so draining the battery, or is it just getting the data from the z-wave.me server software?

Afaik it just reads from the server memory. The wake-up parameter mainly determines battery drain.

Yeah that dawned on me today if the device isn't awake, then it can't be polled.
