USB Stick with Z-Way

Hi,
I'm thinking about adding the USB Stick with Z-way support into my system.
This would mean running the z-way-server locally within my system.
What i'm wondering, am i allowed to include the z-way-server for linux in my distribution?
Does the £80-90 usb stick cost count towards to the licensed use of the z-way-server software?
Thanks
Neil

Yes, the licensing price is already included in the Stick for Z-Way price. We will include License agreement soon in the package, so you would be able to distribute it.

Just looking in the download section, specifically x86 version, the ver is 1.7.0 rc3.
I'm running 1.4.1 on the RPI, does such a version exist in x86 flavour?
Thanks

Just a little progress report....
I've managed to integrate z-way-server into my BMS Link directly and are accessing a Z-stick remotely using a netusb server.
Excellent
I have a question regarding migration (assuming its possible).
My current network uses a RaZberry and Z-way v1.4.1 and i'd like to port everything over to the Z-Stick and Z-way v1.7.0 rc3.
I'm assuming the actual controller (Razberry and USB Stick) hold the network information and Z-way server provides a way to read / write the controller data.
If i did an export from the RaZ and imported it into the USB stick, what would happen?
Do i understand it right, that since all my nodes are included into the RaZ controller, i'd have to either clone the Raz completely so that the nodes think the USB stick is the same controller?
Or does a controller change means including all nodes into the new controller?
Can this porting procedure be done entirely within the webUI?
Thanks
Neil

There is a backup/restore in the Blue UI. Just make sure to repair routes after that.
Also run z-cfg-update on your xxxxxxxx-DevicesData.xml before making the backup (or after restoring) (with Z-Way turned off!!!)

Hi PoltoS,
Is it possible to add the secondary controller, update devices so they report to the new controller, then make it primary?

No, you can make it primary only during inclusion (called change controller or controller shift). You can not include as secondary and then make primary.

Ah ok, thanks for clearing that up.
What i'm trying to do is get a method that works solely via the webUI.

backup/restore and routes repair works via the UI. the only problem might be if you update your config from a very old box. but during next s/w update it will be repaired anyway
