Switching Off Sensor

Hi, Is there generic way to say that I am not interested in Sensor status changes?
Scenario is simple, I leave house and set up sensor so it does it's work
But when I return I want to say that I am at home and sensor can rest and not waste time.

If there is no generic way, them I am talking about Fibaro Multisensor - particulary motion sensor.

Just ignore the status of that sensor based on something else. I use a multisensor to turn on an exterior light based on motion but use the LUX input from that sensor to restrict it to occurring only when the light level is low.
