I'm not sure if this is suggested, but how hard is it to add my own messages to the Home Automation notifications? I want to add a notification based on a condition. For example, create a new notification every time motion is detected on a certain sensor.
I know the notifications are stored in a JSON file under "opt/z-way-server/automation/storage", but I read that these files should not be edited. With that in mind, is there a way to make my own JSON file and include my own notifications in it and still have the notifications appear in the same place?
Thanks for any and all help!

Hi Student,
Do you have a RaZberry, or Zstick (with z-way) server?
If so, you could try my system. It can do all these things (and more) with ease

Using BMSLink https://linode.bmslink.co.uk with z-way-server. http://linode.bmslink.co.uk:4567

Where would you like to see those messages to appear?StudentInNeedOfHelp wrote:I'm not sure if this is suggested, but how hard is it to add my own messages to the Home Automation notifications? Hello both of you,
I use a Razberry. I would like the messages to appear in the same place as the warning messages in the z-way-ha UI when a device can no longer be found.
