sync script on ZDDX save

Hi,
Does anyone know what the sync scripts do in z-way 1.7.0-rc3?
I have no *.sh scripts in that directory, which I think give rise to this error...
sh: ../z-way/sync: Permission Denied.
failed to execute shell script on ZDDX save notifications: (0) Success
Other than putting a redundant script in there (file name unknown?), is there anything else I can do to avoid this error?
