Does it crash with remote access too? If so, would it be possible to give us remote access for a day so we can debug it? If so, please write to info@

Unfortunatelly we can not reproduce it ;(

I just setup an account for you and tested it remotely with ZWay Control. Home Control takes a long time to try to connect and then silently crashes on connection. I'm going to DM you the connection information.

I gave up and rolled back to my backup of v2.1.2-rc17-42-g8184d37 and the app is finally working again.

PoltoS,

Did you get the DM I sent with login information to my system? Do I need to leave it active? Do you need anything else from me?

I may be interpreting the response incorrectly (I hope I am) but the response so far has been that Home Control hasn't been updated and we should use ZWay Control instead because it does more. I hope that's not the official, final line because ZWay control is great for performing administrative actions on your phone that you can't do with the other apps. I even setup a test account for @Poltos from work using it. It is, however, a poor user interface that takes forever to log in and is not very touch friendly.

I hope the answer is really Home control hasn't been updated yet, but will be.

Now that the holidays are done and everyone is back to work, is there a target date for getting this fixed? right now, I'm checking the forum every day for news but that's silly to do if it's going to be a few weeks. :)
