Licensing for REST API only

Hi together, I want to use my zwave stick just to switch one device with my raspi the simplest way (REST API). I have an old gpio razberry and a new stick without license.

Could you please clarify the following:

If I use the razberry gpio, I do not need a license and the costs are ~30Eur alltogether.

If I use the uzb1 stick I 'd have to pay ~30 eur/stick + ~60eur license = 90Eur to get the same functionality?

Is there a way to use the stick with any rest api ?
(I know about openzwave, but I am still wondering why it takes ~15 mins to build it and still there is an api missing)

Prices are 59 for RaZberry vs 94 for UZB. The functionality is same. http://store.zwaveeurope.com/advanced_s ... ry&x=0&y=0

REST API is available for both.

Which API can I access if the UZB / razberry is not licensed and how?

RaZberry is always licenses. License is included in the price. Always. UZB is not - you need to buy a license for it. Without the license essencially you can only update f/w and load license. The rest is accessible via API as usually but will not work properly.
