Hi all,
I would like to build a Z-Wave net.
I know every Z-Wave gateway is able to send email, but I would like to send SMS.
Is there a way to achieve this ?
I didn't found a gateway with integrated GSM module; does exist an external one ?

There are different ways to send SMS. You dont need a GSM module for that.
There is an app already included in the modules, for example.
I use my VOIP provider. It offers an API to send SMS over the internet, just as you would normally. I made a module for that.
Another way would be to add a USB Gsm module. You would probably find the linux drivers for it.
But you would need some programming skills for that.

I would like to send SMS without internet connection. Perhaps the easiest way is a backup connection on the router (via 4G SIM) and send SMS through VOIP provider.
