Hi,

A few weeks ago I purchased a Z-Box and it has a z-way server version of 2013. Through the Z-Way configuration interface, the upgrade is not working.

How the Z-Box upgrade to a newer version?

Kind regards
RJ

This one? https://smarterhome.sk/448-thickbox_def ... roller.jpg

It was discontinued about two years ago!

As I remember, current version of Z-Way requires full upgrade of the OS on the box. In bried you should either do upgrade of the OS (voyage) or install new voyage. Then install Z-Way. We still have a version for this box: http://razberry.z-wave.me/z-way-server/ ... v2.2.4.tgz (built yesterday). May be try it first and if it will complain on libraries, do the OS update/re-install

Yes, that is the one.

An update requires a new installation of the OS, then the update of the Z-way software worked.

However after a reboot to the new kernel, it won't start up. How do I recover from this? Can that be done by a RS232 connection, or is there a faster way?

Not sure. We used to run the CF image in a VM to test it

Hi,

I managed to use a CF-card reader and upgraded also the kernel to voyage 0.9 version. When installing a new OS based on voyage 010, do I need additional drivers for the z-wave.me hardware?

I think the installer will add them itself.
