How to use Wall-Switch in Smart Home UI

Post by Benny »

Hi,

I have 3 Z-Wave.me Wall Switches, one Philio Smart Color Button and one Fibaro Swipe. With the latest Upgrade to 2.3.0 every device get an icon in the Smart Home UI.

But how can I use it?

See post about Association.

Done in Expert UI and with Expert Commands. The quick/easy way in Expert UI, the Association Tab, doesnt seem too work as it should right now. So go to Expert UI ans Expert Command on the botton, and associate with the lightbulb you want to controll

Hi,

i've already done it with association. In this case I need the Wall-Switch to trigger a virtual device...

But it works...
The third Wall-Switch arrived, after inclusion and installing "Trap from Remotes and Senors" new elements are showing that could be used in UI.
The switch has to be configured to switch scenes. If the Trap App is installed you get a new element for (double) click the switch.

The Issue...
All motion detector and some switches are creating a new element too. There is a list with elements you don't want to trap. But if you fill the list, the element doesn't exist anymore after saving. So you get some errors.
