Hello guys,

I'm a software developer passionate by IoT and I buyed a RaspberryPi 3 B + RaZberry2.

I read alot on the internet and trying myself to understand every important thing for the beginning.

I want to create a custom application to control Z-Wave module.. My question is:

What API is the best between those 2 APIs? Are the same ? What additional feature has one from another ?

If you want to create home automation apps and use the power of the Z-Way rules engine, use smart home level (ZAutomation).

If you want to get a gate to your Z-Wave devices, have full control on Z-Wave devices configuration and integrate with you own system, use ZWave API. It is lower level but more flexible
