Voltage Meter

Post by cmpts_cmp »

Hi

Looking at using a ZUno as I use zwave for home automation.

Are there any circuit layouts and code already out there to read the voltage using a zuno?

I'd like to monitor a 12v caravan/trailer battery

Cheers

You can use the Z-Uno shield with jampers set to 0-12 V on ADC pins.

Or Z-Uno with a voltage divider (to resistors) to adopt 0-12 to 0-3. In fact better 0-15 to 0-3 as the battery can give more than 12 V.

I think the z-uno voltage divider option is a good solution.

Are there any code examples out there? I did try this one but the library is different / not compatible so errors.

I would suggest you to have a look on our LCD libraries that are in the package with Z-Uno
