Failed to load config.xml after update 3.0.0

Tried that:

Then you get in cross compilation update hell. I have a month old backup (luckily). I will save my db, commit my latest code and revert. Seems I need to update, safely, to stretch first? Anyone have save update instructions for that? Not willing to do fresh install as my setup is full of tweaks.

(got a step further now with the instructions, everything broke as I had a different Python version linked. But I need that... so *&^*&@# fragile these OS types)

Funny, I upgraded weeks ago, everything worked fine. Then I did something...don´t remember what I did...and, couldnt log in...
then i found a detailed upgrade command and everything was back:
sudo apt-get --reinstall install -o Dpkg::Options::="--force-confmiss" -o Dpkg::Options::="--force-confold" -y z-way-server

Excatly what happened here also! But thanks to you I got my system back to running with your command

I trust you both addressed YES rather than NO when the installer inquired as to whether you need to supplant config.xml fand zbbw.xml records. Shockingly, I don't have the foggiest idea of how to help in this circumstance however re-introducing everything from the scratch. Not certain if reinforcements from 2.3.8 can enable, them to utilize various libraries.

If you get a load config. xml failed message, take these general steps to fix it: Go to C:Program FilesNotepad++ (or wherever the program files are). Copy the config.
