Mongoose for Ubuntu/Debian for Z-Way Server?

Post by sofakng »

I've installed the Z-Way Server inside a Docker container (Ubuntu 16.04) but I noticed that it wasn't quite working properly.

It looks like the Z-Way Server requires Mongoose?

I see you provide an ARM binary for Raspberry Pi (http://razberry.z-wave.me/mongoose.pkg.rPi.tgz) but I'm running on x86_64. Do you have a binary or instructions on how to compile it? (it looks like it's supposed to be compiled/embedded inside another application?)

Thanks for any help!

Mongoose is not mandatory for Z-Way. It can work without it.

Thanks so much. I'm trying to use the firmware updater and it looks like it requires it?

For Z-Way update you can use it or you can use apt-get subsystem
