http.request issues

Post by fez »

Hi.
I am using http.request and I observed recently only that my module is broken.
I get the following error from the other end: "SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK"

This was working fine for a good while. I am not sure since when the issue might be present.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Check certificate validity and lifetime. May be intermediate certificate chain is broken. See Sectigo issue from end of May

Thanks for the suggestion.
I believe I fixed the certificate issue by using proper domain name instead of internal IP, but now I get "Couldn't connect to server".
The connection works (after some routing adjustments) just fine from any browser, no certificate trust issues any more, however the topic is still actual.

Was something changed recently on the http request? SSL version?
... seems like the "Fritz!Box Presence" (another), also http request based is also broken.
