Second Zway Node Conflict
Posted: 21 Dec 2020 12:05
Hi,
I have 2 Raspberry Pi controllers and a long while ago I used one as the primary, one as the secondary controller.
Then I switched off the secondary controller and left it to one side.
Now, a year later I tried to bring the old controller into my network.
I did a clean RaspPi OS + clean install of 3.1.1
Of course over that time I had a few more devices and quite a few failures that I had to exclude and reinclude - this changed many of the nodes in the network.
So finally the secondary controller is alive, but has "remebered" all the old nodes. Thats not really a problem, I can delete the dead nodes and include the new. Alernatively I could restore a backup from the active Zway controller - that would transfer all nodes and make them correct.
The BIGGEST problem is that the old Zway has come up with the same NodeID as the first. They both think they are Node3.
How can I completely clear the old Zway and give it a non conflicting nodeID?
Thanks
