ZWA021 Thermostatic valves weird behaviour

Post by kajman »

Hi,

I have 6 valves in my home 4 of which are automated (having simple night/day temperatures set). Few times a week one of the automated valves will behave like this:

Around 7:00PM I've set the temperature to 17.0C (the blue line) and it behaved correctly until around 01:00AM then suddenly the valve opened itself to max and rose to 20.0C around 7:00AM. This happens once every 1-3 days lately. I've replaced the batteries and restarted and healed the zwave network many times. As I checked the temperature on LCD at 7:00AM it was still 17.0C and this is always the case.

What helps is to set the valve on Boost and then turn Boost off after 2-3 seconds. This is another example from today:

Why may this be happening? Are all of the valves that behave like this faulty? What can I do to fix this?
