So i picked up a Razberry board over the weekend with my use case purely as a Diagnostics tool for my existing Z-wave network/controller. I managed to include Zway into my current controller just as an ordinary zwave node fine. My question now is, what is the best way to utilise the tool to troubleshoot bad routes/nodes? I have watched the video posted by zwave.me however i think that is relevant if ZWay becomes the primary controller. For example my Route Map, i dont get as much value as Zway seems to think 'it' is the center point of interest rather than the primary controller. Any tips would be most appreciated!
Ps. If my existing controller supported another controller acting as Primary, that would be amazing but there is no support in doing this
Z-Way Expert Diagnostics (as secondary controller)
Re: Z-Way Expert Diagnostics (as secondary controller)
There are other tools beside RouteMap. In addition you can use Route Map to see existing network routes (especially incoming routes).
Of course diagnostics is better when Z-Way is primary
