Razberry pinout

Post by mdegroux »

Hello

I'm planning to plug my razberry on a PC without GPIO (migrating from a raspberry to another PC)
In the FAQ (https://z-wave.me/frequently-asked-questions/) it's said
The Z-Wave chip m the RaZberry daughter card only uses the power supply and TX and RX. All other I/Os of the Raspberry PI GPIO connector are free for other usage.
So, using an UART to USB chip (FT232RL) should do the job

But when I look on the board, I can see that GPIO4 is wired

I think it's used for the reset button and in this case I don't need it

Can your confirm that?

Yes, this is the button. This is not mandatory. Only TX/RX/Gnd/3V3 are mandatory to operate.
