Hi,
I have a couple of 2GIG-STZ-1 700 series thermostats and am having trouble been able to switch modes. In the ThermostatMode command class, the response z-way got was

Code: Select all

/: None (03.04.2021)
    0: None (03.04.2021)
        modeName: Off (03.04.2021)
    1: None (03.04.2021)
        modeName: Heat (03.04.2021)
    2: None (03.04.2021)
        modeName: Cool (03.04.2021)
    3: None (03.04.2021)
        modeName: Auto (03.04.2021)
    4: None (03.04.2021)
        modeName: Auxiliary (03.04.2021)
    11: None (03.04.2021)
        modeName: Energy Save Heat (03.04.2021)
    12: None (03.04.2021)
        modeName: Energy Save Cool (03.04.2021)
    13: None (03.04.2021)
        modeName: Away Heat (03.04.2021)
    supported: true (03.04.2021)
    version: 3 (03.04.2021)
    security: true (03.04.2021)
    interviewDone: true (03.04.2021)
    interviewCounter: 9 (03.04.2021)
    modemask: 14367 (03.04.2021)
    mode: 2 (14:31)

In the z-way UI, i only get a binary switch to turn it on/off. In the devices api for developers section it has

Code: Select all

"deviceType": "switchBinary",
. Is this a known issue or is there some way to force the modes to appear?

Thanks,
Greg

No, i haven't had any support from the z-way team yet. Maybe they're all on summer vacation as their replies to any threads seems to be non-existant.

This is the current limitation of Z-Way. It is to be changed in near future.
