Failed to install the app

Hi all,

I'm having a problem with a fresh installation in a Raspberry Pi 4 which has been working without problems for 5 o 6 months. I've done a fresh install (tried like 5 or 6 times) and I always get the message "Failed to install the app" when downloading an app from the web interface. The only thing that I can see in the logs is a timeout, but I cannot see the reason.

The version installed is the last one (3.1.4) also with the last version of the O.S.

I have also checked my internet connection and it doesn't seem to have any problems, as I can reach other websites.

Could you please give me any clues to solve this problem?

Thank you very much!

Hello PoltoS, which log should print the reason?

As I told before, in z-way-server.log I only see a timeout:

Code: Select all

[2021-09-02 12:55:09.875] [I] [core] Installing app NetworkPresence ...
[2021-09-02 12:55:15.391] [I] [core] Error installing app NetworkPresence: Timeout was reached
This happens with every app I try to install.

Also, I tried installing the new 3.2.0 version and anything has changed.

Does it happen to all apps? Sure the Pi has access to the internet? Sure it can download from https://developer.z-wave.me

Thank you PoltoS, I'll try to answer your questions:

1) Yes, it happens with all apps that I've tried (5 or 6). Do you want me to try with one in particular?
2) Yes, I can browse the web with Chromium without any problems. Also, I installed the server from the internet with:

Code: Select all

wget -q -O - https://storage.z-wave.me/RaspbianInstall | sudo bash
3) I've tried to access https://developer.z-wave.me with the browser and it works properly, so that doesn't seem to be the problem

You can provide us access so we look on the issue. We will need remote access + remote support enabled + SSH login/pass.
