I'm trying to run this link in order to test the C library API but it is not working any suggestion what I can do, I want to check the API and the functions responsible for the communication and data sending and receiving.

Please be more specific. This demo code should work if you add the Z-Way library to it (take one on https://storage.z-wave.me/z-way-server)
