Device reset locally

Post by topcatsss »

I keep getting 'Device reset locally' on various devices.
this happens randomly and to different devices around the network.

It is then quite a hassle to get them back working again.

what is actually going on?

This might be because devices decided to recet themself. Might be because of a specific button press sequence. We have seen a few devices doing that in some unexpected moments. What are your devices sending DRL notification?

i have 3 devices doing this on a regular basis.

2 different device types, the older one was working fine for almost a year with no issues.
I swapped controllers (it died) about 4 months ago, rebuilt the entire network using the newest software, and everything is just not quite right.

what is a DRL notification?

From time to time I also have this effect with Qubino Double Relay Switches.
They are built into the wall without an external switch. So nobody can operate them manually.

I use them to control heating appliances. As it only happens every year at the beginning of the heating season after a long period of inactivity, I have come to the conclusion that it has something to do with increased air humidity.

The devices are in the Include state when the power is turned back on. Therefore, it cannot be caused by the controller.
