Zigbee not usable in Z-Way 4.1.4 with Z-Station – “Devices → Zigbee” leads to 404

Post by MyZip »

Hello Z-Wave.Me Support Team,

I am using a Z-Station by Z-Wave.Me with a Raspberry Pi 5, running Z-Way Server version 4.1.4.

Z-Wave works perfectly, but Zigbee cannot be used:

In Apps → Instances, only “Zigbee Network Access” is present.

In the App Store (Cloud tab), there are no additional Zigbee apps / no Zigbee UI available.

The menu item Devices → Zigbee results in an error
(“The page you’re looking for could not be found”, route #/zigbee/manage).

A Zigbee port is configured (/dev/ttyUSB1), and the hardware is detected.

Zigbee devices cannot be paired.

For comparison, the same Zigbee devices can be paired without issues using deCONZ.

From my understanding, this means that a Zigbee backend/API is present, but no local Zigbee UI or Zigbee manager is available to create a Zigbee network, set the channel, or manage devices.

I would appreciate clarification on the following points:

1. Is Zigbee with Z-Station officially supported in Z-Way 4.x?

2. If yes:
– Which Z-Way components / apps are required?
– How can the Zigbee UI (Devices → Zigbee) be enabled correctly?

3. If no:
– Is it planned to provide the Zigbee UI again, or is Zigbee intended to be headless / API-only?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,
