I am working on a PVlogger module that will display different icons to reflect the status of the solar systems. I had hoped I could bundle these icons with the module package in the same directory. Unfortunately that does not work.
As a work around it is possible to store/reference them somewhere under htdocs, but that is far from ideal for deployment...

Re: userModule icon referencing?
Three weeks ago on Github I did open an issue (https://github.com/Z-Wave-Me/zwave-smarthome/issues/4) for this problem of accessing userModule specific graphics.
Today that issue was labeled as "enhancement", which on past experience means that it will not be implemented in the present v2.0.1 development. I can understand that.
However it would be good if the development team could share here some views on this issue.

Not sure @vvades visits this forum. You can continue discussion on the issue on github.
Just as a side note, we want to launch 2.0.1 (we are 99.99999999% done
and then we will do step by step fixes for all problems we will encounter. So, priority is to launch a working version and only then look for uncritical problems, do features and make fixes. Otherwise we will never launch.
Hope you are with us!

Re: userModule icon referencing?
The very reason to post here and not on Github just was to not disturb Vades with discussions on this while he is so busy with the final steps for 2.0.1
.
For me, it is no problem at all that it does not make it to 2.01.
