"Activate Remote Access" disabled not sticky across reboot

I used the config interface on port 8084 to disable remote access.

However, when the system reboots this setting changes back to enabled.

Is there any way to make it permanently disabled?

Problem occurs on 2.0.1.

I tested this recently on my own rig for someone else, and found it working correctly.
I do use v2.02-rc1
