Software question: As far as I understood the online Z-Cloud server gets the areas info from ZWaveAPIData, whereas the razberry local server (z-wave-server) gets it from config.xml. If, so, are the local and the cloude server based on different implementations?
If I'm wrong, how comes that the local web server does not have any areas info in the json return from the ZWaveAPIData call?

The two implementation are indeed different, but both gets zones decsription from Rules.xml. In Z-Cloud only current scene on the zone comes from ZWaveAPI tree.
