Defaults.xml interpretation

Post by pz1 »

I am a bit lost with the interpretation of some elements in defaults.xml. For example
Command class 0x31 (SensorMultilevel) Fahrenheit: Flag what temperature scale is used
In my file it is presently set to 0 (zero). Does that mean that it is not using the Fahrenheit scale? If Ido change it to 1, will all my Z-Wave temperature sensors report readings in Faherenheit units, and will the "scaleString" of the individual devices report F instead of C?
Pieter

Edit: it does indeed seem to switch globally from C to F (and reverse)

Yes, this enables translation of all values from F to C and vice versa.
