Alternative Z-wave dongle

Dear all,

I'd love to try out the razberry and Z-cloud software stack.
I already have a raspberry PI but I don't have the dedicated Zwave addon board, but I already own a Tricklestar USB dongle. (Which works with openzwave)

Is it possible to use this dongle with razberry/ z-cloud. If so, I'm doing something wrong. What do I need to change/check? If not, is it difficult to change this?

Kind regards,

Do you mean RaZberry or Raspberry Pi?
RaZberry only works with the dedicated GPIO "dongle"
You can try to run Z-Agent on Raspberry Pi to connect to Z-Cloud. You do need Z-stick drivers for your USB stick that work on Raspberry Pi. Otherwise follow instructions for Unix install of Z-Agent. I think it has been published on this forum quite a while ago. Google is your friend.
