I'm having trouble getting this device to include... It sees it come up but never adds it in the system. I see a failed message in the Inspect Queue, but no error message in the log file. Any ideas?

You certainly press NIF button sequence instead of learn mode sequence. Please read user manual of your device to check button sequence you nee to include the device.
