problem with device

Post by Zetat »

I have only one Fibaro RGBW connected to the razberry.
It worked fine until I unplugged the power. Then the time change and it says the device seems to be dead.
I have tried reboot, reboot the chip.

Recently I removed the device from Razberry by using remove failed node. and I try to include it but it didn't find anything. And I wonder if it maybe is something wrong with the chip/fibaro or something else?

Hi Zetat,

I have same problem with my fibaro module FGD211 dimmer.
I successfully connected the module 4 hours straight only and after same message "The device seems to be dead".
I have tested with domoticz too and same problem....
Zetat, di you try to exclude the device and re-included it ?

try to re-include your module and push 3 time quickly on the module.
If that don't work push long time one time for reset module and re-include it.

RESET:
1. Disconnect voltage supply.
2. Press and hold the B-button located inside Fibaro RGBW Controller's casing.
3. Connect voltage supply still holding the B-button.
4. Release the B-button.
5. B channel will turn on (blue channel).
6. Disconnect power supply

Reinclude - maybe the distance (5meters) is too large... try with smaller distance...

Have you tried to include without any sensor/device at input?

I had a dimmer, not fibaro, which was reported as failed. It was a "build in"(no wall plug) dimmer for a 2-wire system. After some investigation I figured out the problem, the light bulb was broken... Because it was a 2-wire system the dimmer does not get any power if the bulb goes out.
