Raspberry PI as device node

Can RaZberry support using the raspberry pi as a remote sensor device rather than as a controller? We want to use the raspberry as a prototyping board for some new sensors. Can this be done via RaZberry? If so, how can I configure it?

In theory - yes, but in practice this was never done before.

For this we need to add this functionality in Z-Way to allow SensorBinary and SensorMultilevel Command Classes report values. But may be a better way is to use something like Fibaro Universal Sensor?

Do you need this as a solution in quantities? We have an idea how to do this better ;)

Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried a Fibaro Universal sensor, but got no response when I tried to include it. I then tried another Fibaro Universal sensro in case I had ESD damaged the first one, but still no joy. My razberry is happily controlling a TKBHome switched socket, so the Razberry is alive. Do you have any ideas? Presumably the Razberry and the Figaro Sensor are known to work together?

With Z-way 1.4.1 the FUS works fine for me. I had to connect the temperature sensors before inclusion, otherwise they did not show up if I connected them later. I you only have one temp sensor that works fine too.

Both sensors should work. I have no problems with this module.

But in any case - please make sure that you are near the RaspBerry while inclusion process.

For Fibaro door sensor - while inclusion should be the tamper sensor (at back side) closed, anp press very fast multiple times at the small swich - then it will work.
And right - temperature modul must be installed at first.
