Firmware upgrade

Post by ollfa »

I just designed a zwave hardware for my company, its based on Sigmas designs, and it contains the ZM3102 module. As expected it does not run your software, because its the wrong firmware. Is it possible to upgrade to your firmware?

I think you can drop us a letter to razberry@z-wave.me so we can discuss licensing options.

BTW, why not using 5gen module?

Great! Is it possible to flash firmware without sigmas SDK?

We will use 5gen module, but for developing the zm3102 was easier to solder :)

Yes, soldering ZM5202 is way easier. But chips are very different and need completely different firmwares to operate.

We have our old f/w for ZM3102 and for new ZM5202 and ZM5101. It is possible to flash it without Sigma SDK, but you will need special programming tool. You can buy it from Sigma or from us.

As mentioned, please write us about your project, your company and your requirements and we will come up with an good solution.
