raZberry and stella Z's wakeup

Post by tonyg »

I am trying to maintain a stella z's connection to a razberry.

I have set the correct device file and the wakeup time during the initial wakeup after first time inclusion.

I have tried forcing the interview and waking up the stella z (on several stella's at different times)

Waking up the stella seems to work from the stellas point of view but no response seems to be received from the razberry.

On my device list I seem to have a device with node id 232 which I cannot remove and I am thinking what is this and can this be causing the problem. Could it be some sort of set up values on the raZberry.

I know the wake ups work on a separate installation I have with a VERA controller which has 10 or stellaz's attached with two danfoss lc-13's. (this is in a location about 10 miles from the test setup I am now working on)

So my question is to those of you who have these stella z's successfully working with your raZberry.

1) what do you do after your inclusion and successful interviewing of your stella z's

I have answered that in an other thread before. There is also something in the Recipe section. I have written something about integration with OpenRemote (For Z-Way 1.4.1 as a matter of fact. I should update that page to 2.x)

Sorry I did not make myself clear. Once I have included, interviewed and selected the correct file for the stellas. No further communication takes place even if I wake up the stellas. Commands don't seem to be being received even after push button wakeup on any of the devices.

I have read your guides end to end ( nice job this is) but I think my problem may be some thing to do with my razberry setup.

Do you have a node 232 device which cannot be interviewed ?

Hi Tony,

I have the StellaZ's with a 3rd gen Raz (and used Zstick) running z-way-1.7.0-rc3.

Do you have skype? Maybe I can help.

1) I've been looking further into this yesterday and today.
If you select this device under configuration in the old Expert UI, you may notice that it refers to some items with a checkbox in front of them. If you uncheck those, and push "Save" at the bottom, the device will have gone after you restart your browser
2) I now found that my test StellaZ, indeed does not allow to set the interval in the configuration screen of the old Expert UI. The new UI does allow this setting for that particular device
