I just bought a RaZberry and I am running Z-Way v2.0.0.
I bought a Fibaro motion sensor running firmware 2.7.
I have searched the web and scoured these forums, and I cannot find anything that tells me how to set configuration parameters on this, or any other, device. My searches find many people that talk about the need to set them, or that setting them worked/didn't work, but, nothing about how to actually set them. I feel like a 2 year old that is being told to tie his shoes.
The Fibaro has many parameters that can be set, but, I cannot figure out how to set them. I cannot find anywhere in the interface to get their values either. Some examples of things that can be set, that I am talking about, are:
- LED SIGNALING MODE
- TEMPERATURE REPORTS INTERVAL
- LED BRIGHTNESS
- LOW AMBIENT ILLUMINATION LEVEL
- etc...
Any help would be really cool.
Thank you!
How To Set Configuration Parameters?
Re: How To Set Configuration Parameters?
If you go into the expert U.I., then to the configuration menu, and then select the device you want to set the configuration for theres an expert or advanced option which will show a list of all the options.
It's not the list that has everything named (there's another list of parameters). I'm sorry, I know that's a little confusing, but I can't pull up my controller at the moment so I'm going off of memory.
In the list if you scroll down approx. half wat there's a get/set parameter. You will have to manually set the value for the parameter you want to set, set the size (1 dec, 1 hex, 4 dec...), then set the value you want it to be, and the click the set button.
If you have not found this other menu by tomorrow evening post a response that you are still lost and someone else can either give more specifics, or I'll have access to my controller by then and can give a more detailed explanation.

Re: How To Set Configuration Parameters?
I have seen the 'Configuration' section in Expert Commands with Get and Set, as you described. When I click Configuration, only 3 items are returned (1, 2, 3, & 6) with values that jibe with the parameters for items 1, 2, 3, & 6. However, if I put 8 in in the Get Parameter field and click Get, nothing happens. Clicking Configuration again results in no change of the returned data.
I also put the sensor on my desk and clicked its button 3 times to /wake it up/ and still no change. Bug in the senor? Z-Way?

Re: How To Set Configuration Parameters?
Sorry about the delayed response...
I looked at mine, and the option is under configuration->expert commands.
If you scroll through the list there should be an option for generic setting/getting of parameters. If you put in the parameter and the desired value (and I think the parameter type. i.e. 1 byte dec/hex) and click set it should work.
If this is a battery powered device the changes might not take affect until the next time the device wakes up to report status (10 min?).
Hopefully that gets things working for you
Once again, sorry I can't be more specific about the field name under the expert commands, but I reset my razberry the other day and have not got it back up and running so the only device I have listed is the razberry itself. I'm waiting for some help myself to restore my network.
Let me know how it goes and if there is still issues I'll see if I can't help out some more.

Re: How To Set Configuration Parameters?
Alright, I got my network restored and can be a little more specific...
Go into the configuration for the device you are trying to configure, and click on "expert commands."
Somewhere in that list should be an option labeled "Configuration."
Set the parameter #, the value you want it to be, the size, and click set.
Again, since it's it a battery powered device it probably won't set the parameter until its next wake-up, but that should do the trick.
