5th gen. RaZberry - not working with blinking LED's
Posted: 21 Apr 2015 06:23
Hello,
My 5 RaZberry's out of 6 total(Mfg Date 18.02.15 with ZM5202 module and Crystal marked H) I have bought are not working with Expert UI.
BUT they work fine with Sigma Design's Z-Wave PC Controller program.
Here is the story.
1. All of them worked fine out of box. LED's(red and green) blink for 1 second on power up. LED blink once on API reset and frequency change.
2. Successful inclusions and exclusions of switch device with steady on LED.
3. Successful switch device on/off control.
4. After changing frequency between JP/KR/EU RaZberry suddenly begin to blink LED's, and stops working with ip_address:8083 setting.
5. Even with blinking LED's RaZberry works fine with ip_address:8084 setting, including firmware upgrading to v2.0.1-rc15.
6. This is all the same with 5 RaZberry's so far.
7. However, all of them work fine with Sigma Design's Z-Wave PC Controller program.
I am using DC 5V, 2A power supply on RPi b+.
Is there a way to revive faulty RaZberry's, with dev kit from Sigma Designs?
Is there a way to bypass firmware check of RaZberry so that it may work with Expert UI?
Thanks in advance,
Yesok Yoon
