The new POPP Smoke detector has no device description. Using the device library (
http://www.pepper1.net/zwavedb/) I found a device description xml file. How can I include it in my zwave installation so it is avalable?

Q&A
You can update the device description with command UpdateXMLs.sh that you can find in the ZDDX folder
Code: Select all
cd /opt/z-way-server/ZDDX
./UpdateXMLs.sh
You'll get quite a few error messages from corrupted xml files. Unfortunately these haven't been cleaned up yet

Hi,
is there a similar proceeding for the Smart Home Stick for WD NAS? There is no description available, though listed on pepper. (device 725).
Thanks
