Range problems with TKB dimmer

I have Z-wave controller on raspberry with two simple devices.

One is the dimmer (TKB Home) and the other is the Motion Detector by Everspring.
Motion Detector works ok but with TKB I had wireless range problems.

I couldn't make inclusion between floors, I had to take raspberry and put 3-4 meters from TKB switch..
Even one wall made problems - in timing info at expert menu were very hight values (in red 400-450).

after one day it's better but I want to move raspberry to another place between few walls..

Is it normal such poor range of this TKB switch or something is corrupt ?

I bought another dimmer (the same model) and with this I have the same problems with range... I don't know is this normal or I have some problem with raspberry z-wave module ?
or maybe whole part of dimmers from this seller are broken ?

what is your range of z-wave raspberry module ?

Hi

I may have the same problem. Did u solve this? Do you have a visible aerial / antenna behind the plate of your switch? What does it look like?

Thanks!
Greg

old TKB vs. new TKB switch is a huge range difference - I mean TZ65S vs TZ35S
:( that´s all that I checked..

and - I don't see any antenna..
I use raspberry gpio module of course and I thought about add 86mm antenna ;)

but generally - older TZ65S has very very strong signal level and quality.
even everspring SP103 sensor or Aeon sensors has better signal level than new TKB TZ35 ;(
it's not only about poor level - it's very unstable also being near controller..
