Hello,
I'm looking for the best way to have my switch turn off at a specific time. Currently the switch is using Daylight to turn the switch on at sunset.
I tried using a logical rule for this but it's not working.
Thanks in advance.
Switch off at a set time
Re: Switch off at a set time
In Logical rules the time constraints can only be used to limit responses to triggers from other events within the set time frame. Passing a certain point in time does not trigger the rulejoerod wrote:I tried using a logical rule for this but it's not working.

Re: Switch off at a set time
I'm using the app Scheduled Scene to turn ON a scene at a given time.
And another Scheduled Scene to turn OFF a scene at a given time.
Works like a charm.

I think that is the best way. Cumbersome, but works well. I just hate having 12 scenes when I could get away with 6 schedulesEdwardPayne wrote:I'm using the app Scheduled Scene to turn ON a scene at a given time.

Yep I figured that out myself, I then had to change the timezone in the z-wave interface.

Re: Switch off at a set time
the time condition in the logical modul is not a trigger?
thats a bat think, if the sensor value condition set bevor

Re: Switch off at a set time
No, it is NOT a trigger. It is the time envelope in which the sensor events will trigger the action part. Sensor events happening outside that period will be ignoredtomshuette wrote:the time condition in the logical modul is not a trigger?
