When I try to change something in a user profile (e.g. language or profile color) with the SmartHome UI and press the [Save] button I always get the message "The given email already exists. Please use a different email.". It is not really necessary to change something, just klick the [Save] button to get the message.
It sound like if it would try to create the user again instead of updating it.

+1 Well described bug report by poster. Now confirmed it effects multiple users.

And only the user you are trying to edit has this email adress?
Unfortunately it seems that adding a new user doesn't check if the given email adress does alredy exist. I'll change that ASAP.
Meanwhile please check your users and go for sure that they have different email adresses.
Btw. as admin user you are allowed to change/reset users login and password so you don't necessarily need to add an email for each of them
Note: Adding an email adress is optional. It allows you to reset a forgotten password of an user account. But to enable this it is necessary to use unique email adresses for each user.

For me in Issue 90, It was the only email address that I tried to sepcify. Nothing to do with other users.

You are right. My administrator and my regular user account had the same email address. After I removed the one from my regular user I could update both accounts again. Thanks for that hint.
