I am new in these wanderings and I apologize for something less right that can write.

yesterday i did the update to RASPBIAN with Kernel version:4.4 in my Pi 3Busing this commands:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get install piclone geany usb-modeswitch pi-bluetooth
sudo apt-get install python-pigpio python3-pigpio

After reboot, my Razberry stopped working and retur this error "Cannot start Z-Wave binding: Error: Bad data - communication failed"

I found that you can't disable device tree with the 4.4 kernel, so can anyone help me please?

Shoul i install the older version again? How can i do that?

i did uname -a and get this:

Linux raspberrypi 4.4.9-v7+ #884 SMP Fri May 6 17:28:59 BST 2016 armv7l GNU/Linux

I have done the same update and Razberry kept working. Don't know what happens on your end.

Do you have a pi3?

how do you disable device tree?

My raspi-config dont have device tree option any more.

If nothing changed in device tree design in the new kernel, you can just make a copy of /opt/z-way-server folder, then install Z-Way again (like you did initially). This will fix device tree again. Then restore the old folder.

at this time, i already have a clean install, and my z-way log retur "Notification: critical (z-wave): Cannot start Z-Wave binding: Error: Bad data - communication failed".

My /boot/config.txt has the line "device_tree=" and i already tested put the lines "dtoverlay=pi3-disable-bt" or "dtoverlay=pi3-miniuart-bt", but still not work.

Before i make last update, my z-way board was "bombating" like a charm

Don't forget i got the pi3 and i have to disable wifi and bluetooth.

I dont know what to do at this time.

I dont understand why my board dont work afetr clean install. Can anyone help me please?
