I try from the Expert UI to uograde the firmware, It seems like it works, but no confirmation, and controller info says SDK Version:6.51.06 and
Serial API Version:05.04
What do I do wrong?
Thanks for a good Webinar!
Firmware and bootluader upgrade
Re: Firmware and bootluader upgrade
It would help to gather the z-way-server.log and post it.
The update procedure sometimes requires the boot loader to be upgraded first, before the firmware. Probably another few rounds of updates after an (Z-wave chip) power off. Which means plugging the power cord after a graceful controller shutdown.
Having said that, It should give you an confirmation or failed message.

Re: Firmware and bootluader upgrade
How old is your z-way board.
I assumed the older ones (<2016 ?) had ZW0300 and were only good for 05.04. Please tell me if they can get 5.36 !
My working board (controller info) shows Z-Wave Chip: ZW0500
and that has 05.36

Re: Firmware and bootluader upgrade
@micky1500 ZW0301 were 4.x versions. 5th gen are 5.x.
@Brekne Please make sure to upgrade the bootloader first. Then do firmware update.

Re: Firmware and bootluader upgrade
The chip is 500. After upgrading the bootloader and the firmware everything works. Had to do a couple of restarts. And now I have the network tools too, which is very helpful Thank for your hjelp and for a very interesting webinar.
