Heatit/Multireg thermostat not working

Hi guys!

I'm on a fresh install on a RP 3. Installed and tried to include my device. It's a multireg TF016 thermostat on P-mode. It includes to 92% (fails on meter) and says it's working. Reporting stuff, but it's trying to set a temperature, not a power level. How can I change the mode in Z-wave?

I also tried flashing new firmware and bootloaders. Was on 5.4 on both initially. Updated to 5.17 and then I tried to get to 5.22. My bootloader went to 33251 and I'm stuck at fw 5.22. How do I move on?

Got back to 5.17 and then to 5.27. But this will not help with interview - check the log for errors or provide us screenshots and logs.

Is it a Z-TRM2, 2fx or 3?

It's neither. It's the first one I think. It's just called thermostat as you can see here https://manuals.heatit.com/.

Which FW do I use to regress to 5.17? Which one to get to 5.27? It was super confusing with the map with the FWs.

Cant' attach logs. Invalid files .log or .txt. No errors when I search for errors in the log.

I've done it a few times. Also removed it and added it again. The meter function won't get ticked.

May be a device malfunction. The SDK it is based on is pretty old - looks like and old version - may be worth to update (but looks it does not support firmware upgrade - too old one)

The main point is that I can't find out how to change it to power level and not thermostat which uses the built in thermostat. The newer ones don't have this function.
