Backup w/o WEB-UI access

Post by hellota »

Unfortunately my Raspberry PI SD card is partly corrupted and somehow preventing me from operating Z-Way via the WEB-UI.
It is possible to login to the UI but when executing backup it fails?

I’m also able to SSH into the PI and would therefore need a list of files and locations to copy to a fresh installed PI allowing me to move the Z-Way board to the new PI with full configuration.

Anyone with suchs list and instructions if needed?

Thanks in advance

You need to copy /opt/z-way-server/config/zddx/xxxxxxxx-DevicesData.xml - check the one with your network HomeID - should be the last changed and /opt/z-way-server/automation/storage/*.

(just in case do a full copy of /opt/z-way-server)

Then make a fresh install, stop Z-Way and put all .js files in /opt/z-way-server/automation/storage/. Once done, start it and go in Expert UI, make a backup, rename it to .tgz file, open and replace the /opt/z-way-server/config/zddx/xxxxxxxx-DevicesData.xml with the saved one. Save the .tgz and rename back to .zbk. Restore it (without network topology is okey).
