RaZberry 7 Pro Firmware

Post by bany »

Hello people,
does anyone know where to get firmware for RaZberry 7 pro, maybe older?
Initially I had problems with the controller so I did a firmware update.
Now unfortunately the controller is not recognized properly. For example, I can not establish an encrypted connection.
Therefore, I would like to go back to an older version of the firmware....
Does anyone have another idea?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Best regards
Bany

Which version do you currently have? I would suggest to stay on the 7.13 firmware. Please give us more info about your problem

The current firmware version is: 7.13 [Bootloader: 65535]
but on Device Management on Topology mode I can't choose Classic or Long range => Long Range is not supported or not enabled in your hadrware
After first install I could choose both options

Version 4.0 of Z-Way is where long range support was added. PoltoS stated that 3.2.3 and 4.0 are the same except for long range support.

Also long range is only supported on licence in the USA.

Don't downgrade from 7.13
Do upgrade to RaZberry 3.2.3 it brings back the support for Raz7
It's not perfect yet.
Raz7 Better Aerial does give a wider range though.

now, I started including my z-wave devices, but the RaZberry 7 pro only allows 3 devices (1. Lifeline (maximum 3 devices))
after update to version 3.2.3 it shows a maximum amount of 5 devices...

in the device type info firmware version is 0.00 and z-wave version is shown as 7.17
perhaps I should overwrite the installed firmware?? but where can I get it the file?
any advice?

The number of devices in Association group is reported by the device itself. The controller cant affect it

You said, "in the device type info firmware version is 0.00 and z-wave version is shown as 7.17"
It's Firmware has no relation to the version of RaZberry 7 Pro Firmware. 7.17 is good.

But You don't actually say what device you are using !

?? but where can I get it the file ?
Who Manufactured the dodgy device ?
It's up to them to release firmware updates.
You get the file from them.

Ok, have the new firmware installed on the pro7 and also zway to 3.2.3
All running very smooth, seems all issues with the pro7 are solved...
Will leave it running like this for couple of days but I don't expect any issues.
Thanks for the updates.

Well.... That did not last long.... all of a sudden the controller was dead. Rebooting does not bring it back up...
Is there any way to check if there is still comms with the razberry 7 pro device ?
