NotificationChannelEmail Trigger Details

The NotificationChannelEmail module is great.

however would it be possible to grab details of the device that triggered the email alert?

Ie i have a rule set up to send an email when any number of sensors is turned on.
it would be nice to know which sensor turned on in the emal?

Please check the custom message field in the notification - you can use the status of each device in the custom message

This works only in device's notifications (go in device settings and set them there), but not in the Automation section and other modules like NotificationChannelEmail.

But you can copy&paste the code to other modules (prepareMessage function). If you decide to do it, you can then contribute and make a pull request.
